Big cat on the loose
A GIANT tiger was put through its paces last night as final preparations get under way for Liverpool’s carnival weekend.
The Emperor and the Tiger, taking place at Newsham Park tonight, is a free large-scale outdoor theatre show.
The magical firework folk story features a magnificent mechanical tiger, a statuesque emperor and fabulous firework effects.
Gates open at 9pm.
