A MAN has been shot in what is believed to be a targeted attack in Knowsley.
The shooting on Croxteth Lane in the early hours of yesterday morning left the 21-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to his legs, facial injuries and a wound to his hand.
Police were called to Boodecroft Doorstep, a garden area off Croxteth Lane at 12.30am.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear and the motive is not known, but police believe the victim was targeted.
Det Supt Paul Richardson said : “I am keen to talk to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Brookwood Road area of Huyton between midnight and 2am.
