A 50-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the chest in Southport yesterday. Police were called at around 12.50am to the Duke Street area.
The victim was taken to hospital where he is currently being treated. His condition was described as stable last night.
A 39-year old man from the Southport area has been arrested on suspicious of wounding.
