A REWARD of up to £25,000 is being offered to anyone who can give information leading to the arrest of the robber who stabbed a Bebington man in a Wirral bank this week.
The money is being put up by Lloyds TSB, which was targeted by a lone robber at about 11.15am on Tuesday.
The robber is believed to have followed a security guard into the Old Chester Road branch, in Rock Ferry, as he was making a cash delivery.
Witnesses saw him launch himself at the guard, knocking him to the floor before being confronted by a 53-year-old man who was stabbed in the stomach. A security guard was wounded on his hand.
The victim was said to be comfortable in Arrowe Park Hospital.
Phil Martlew, Lloyds TSB said: ““A reward of up to £25,000 may be paid to any member of the public who provides information to the police leading to an arrest in connection with this very serious crime.”
