A MAN has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with murdering his stepson’s father.
Robert Pennington, 44, is accused of stabbing Michael O’Connor in the head at the victim’s Birkdale home on Friday morning. It is then alleged he tried to turn the knife on 16-year-old Liam O’Connor, who ran away.
