Superlambananas line up to go under the hammer
SUPERGRASS is one of 70 Superlambananas set to go under the hammer and raise over £100,000 for charity.
The green grass figure which sits outside Hill Dickinson on Old Hall Street will be among some of the more high profile Superlambananas which will be auctioned on September 9.
Each Superlambanana has a reserve price of £3,000, with 75% of proceeds going to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
Around 40 Superlambananas will also go on sale online with no reserve, with 75% of proceeds to the appeal which helps charities including the Liverpool and South Sefton Branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The auction, sponsored by Hill Dickinson, will be at St George’s Hall from 6.30pm, tickets are £40 with tables of 10 £400 and are available until Monday, September 1.
