Radio City DJ Kev Seed facing drink drive charge

CELEBRITY DJ Kev Seed was today suspended from Radio City after it emerged he faces a drink-driving charge.

He was stopped by police in Lancashire last Wednesday on the southbound carriageway of the M6.

A police patrol stopped the 40-year-old DJ in Higher Walton, near Leyland, at 3.25pm

A breath test allegedly showed he had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, around one-and-a-half times over the legal limit for driving.

Seed, of Canal View, Melling, was due to appear before South Ribble magistrates.

A Radio City spokeswoman said: “We have been made aware this morning that Kev will be appearing in court tomorrow.

“We will pass further comment after his appearance. He has been suspended with immediate effect.”
