Police probe biker’s death crash

MERSEYSIDE Police are investigating a fatal collision on Tuesday.

Christopher William Corlett was killed in Prescot Road, Melling, near to the Pear Tree public house.

The 20-year-old, from Ormskirk, was riding a blue Yamaha motor-cycle that was in colli-sion with a green VW Polo car at about 7am. He was thrown from his bike and taken to hos-pital, where he died.

The driver stopped and has been helping police with enquiries.
