A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed in a road collision in Southport.
Merseyside Police have identified the rider as Derek Bibby, a 49-year-old, from the Southport area.
He was riding a Yamaha motorcycle which collided with a Ford Mondeo private hire taxi at the junction of Cambridge Road and Bibby Road at 7.39am yesterday.
Mr Bibby was rushed to hospital where he later died.
