DJ Kev Seed _320
RADIO City today sacked long-serving DJ Kev Seed.
The move came after Seed admitted drink-driving at a Lancashire magistrates court last week.
The popular presenter had been suspended by Radio City following his arrest on the charge and yesterday the Merseyside station confirmed the sacking.
Kev Seed said "I am in a state of total shock. After 11 years I just did not expect this. I can't say much more as the whole thing is in the hands of my lawyers but I hope to be back on air doing what I do best as soon as possible."
Seed's management company Money North confirmed that an appeal against the decision would be lodged immediately and will be heard within the next 10 days.
