A FEMALE shop assistant was threatened with a baseball bat at a newsagents in Ellesmere Port.
The raid took place on Saturday at about 6pm at Martins on Chester Road.
Two men, thought to be aged between 18 and 23 years old, demanded cash from the till.
Cheshire police report they got away on foot with a small amount of money.
Both offenders wore coats with their hoods pulled up. Newsagents have been targeted four times by violent thieves in little over a week.
