LIVERPOOL’S continually evolving landscape continues to provide inspiration to the city’s photographers.

The new Liverpool One shopping centre remains a popular choice for those making records of the city’s landmark European Capital of Culture year.

Zig Zag Stairs, by Greenspice1964, shows some of the breathtaking architecture incorporated into Liverpool One, and shows how impressive geometrical shapes can be when caught on camera.

The Liverpool One theme is followed by Pete Wilson, with Still Waters. This picture shows the new apartment blocks One Park West and the still under-construction Hilton hotel, which is due to open next year.

The James Carling Pavement Art Competition seems to have caught the imagination of many contributors, with urbancanvas08 just one of the people to upload a picture of some of the street art.

Meanwhile, on the Mersey, tgmorris delivered a masterclass in picture composition and colour contrast with a wonderful picture of a boat at a boatyard.
