Police name murdered woman

POLICE have named the murdered mother of three whose body was found at her home in Sergrim Road, Huyton, on Tuesday.

A post mortem found Claire Hanley, 31, died of head injuries.

It is thought she was out with friends in Concert Square, Liverpool, on Monday evening, from where she and a male friend walked to Wood Street and Bold Street for a taxi. It is thought they may have been arguing, resulting in Ms Hanley getting a taxi alone.

Officers are keen to talk to anyone who may have seen theme arguing, or the taxi driver who took Ms Hanley home just before midnight.

They also want to trace the driver who took a man to the same address a few minutes later.
