HILL Dickinson yesterday reported fee income of £38.5m in the half-year to October, 2008.
The figure represents an aggregate 13.5% rise across the firm’s offices.
Their Liverpool office income increased by 12.5%, while Chester’s went up by 0.8%. The best performing UK office in the firm was Manchester, which saw a 32.4% rise.
In the same period last year, the firm earned £33.7m.
Peter Jackson, managing partner, said: “We’re particularly proud of the growth recorded in all areas of the firm. In contrast to recent announcements by other law firms, we’re delighted to report growth across the board.
“Albeit small, we have bucked the national trend by reporting a 1.4% growth in our property and construction practice group. Our employees have yet again been the driver of this success, and we owe everything to their continued dedication and commitment.”
The firm’s best performing sector was employment law, which saw income increase by 52% in the first half of 2008.
