Police raid on £400,000 cannabis farm

A LARGE cannabis farm with around 1,200 plants with a street value of around £400,000 has been found in St Helens.

Investigations are continuing and no arrests have been made in relation to the raid in Clipsey Lane, Haydock, on Friday.

Detective Inspector Chris Sephton said: “This is a very professional set-up and I urge anyone with any information about the cannabis factory to contact police on 0151 709 6010 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“As part of our total war on drugs, we are committed to finding and arresting all those involved in this drugs operation.”
