Too early to be saddled with Christmas shopping
AN UNLIKELY shopper trotted around Liverpool One yesterday.
Former Grand National runner and retired racing star Chives came along to the shopping centre and a replica Grand National fen ce was erected in Thomas Steers Way, Chavasse Park. Chives was accompanied by show jumper Jo McGlory, ahead of racing at Aintree on Sunday.
The weekend’s race meeting, know as totesport Becher Chase day, forms the second and final day of the Northwest Racing Masters, opening at Haydock Park this Saturday.
