LIVERPOOL Council has still not released details of a settlement with controversial developer Bill Davies, despite the issue being due to be discussed at a meeting last night.
Earlier this month, the Daily Post exclusively revealed the deal was costing £2m. But the council has so far refused to discuss or confirm the settlement reached with Mr Davies’s Walton Group for a disputed option to develop Chavasse Park.
An hour beforehand, Corporate Services select committee members were warned not to air the issue due to the council taking legal advice. The next meeting will receive a written report.
