“We all miss her so much and events like this to raise funds are very important to me and the rest of my family.

“Mum always filled the house with life and laughter. She would have loved the show.”
The evening was presented by Julian Bennett from Queer Eye for the straight Guy and included a catwalk, live music from Liverpool bands The Aeroplanes and The Verdict and celebrity DJs.
Celebrities in the audience included models Katie Downes and the Hollyoaks cast.
The fashion show was organised by family friend Joanna Jones, director of casting agency, Bananafish Management, to raise money for the chosen charity, which receives no government funding.
Mrs Stevenson said: “Mum would be so proud of Joanna for all the effort she has put in. She has been truly amazing.
“We both did an abseil together after the death of my brother and sister and mum could not believe how much support we got then.
“She would be very happy to see this.”
