A 24-YEAR-OLD man was jailed yesterday for 21 months for indecently assaulting a schoolgirl.
Hanif Alam, of Amiss Gardens, Birmingham, appeared at Preston Crown Court for sentencing after he was convicted of indecent assault earlier this month following a four-day trial.
Alam sexually assaulted the 15-year-old schoolgirl while she was travelling on a bus between Southport and Preston on the evening of April 15, 2008.
