148 revenue and customs jobs lost as offices close

TWO offices in Chester are to close under the restructuring being carried out by Revenue and Customs.

Eden House and Norroy House, Chester, were part of a review which covered the city and North Wales and will see 148 fewer people employed there by 2011.

The office closures are in addition to 11 other offices in the North West which will be vacated as part of a national review of the service’s accommodation.
