Two men jailed for terror flat raid

TWO men who stormed another man’s home demanding money have been jailed.

Nathan McKenzie, 21, and Leon Perry, 28, burst in to Haroon Kudratt’s flat late at night and demanded he hand over cash.

Liverpool Crown Court heard McKenzie claimed he had lent Mr Kudratt £200 and wanted it returned.

But the confrontation at 11.30pm on June 7 became heated, and prosecutor Mike Stephenson said McKenzie demanded Mr Kudratt call his sister to get the money.

McKenzie, of Arnold Crescent, Dingle, began to slap Mr Kudratt.

Judge John Roberts jailed both men for 12 months after they admitted affray and said: “The complainant, having his house invaded late at night, must have been terrified.”
