A 50-YEAR-OLD man has admitted carrying a loaded shotgun in a public place.
Ronald Carroll was originally charged with using the weapon to cause two members of the same family to fear for their safety.
He denied the allegation, but pleaded guilty to an alternative when he appeared at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday for the first day of his trial .
Carroll, of Station Road, Gateacre, admitted one count of having a loaded shotgun in a public place. He will be sentenced on January 9.
