A MIRACLE toddler who was not expected to recover from a 100ft fall at Liverpool’s Primark store has met Father Christmas.
Evie Parry was just three years old when she accidentally slipped though a gap in a “glass wall” at the top of the Church Street shop’s escalator and plummeted to the lower ground floor.
Despite suffering a horrendous list of injuries, the smiling little girl is walking, talking and back at Springwood Heath infant school, in Allerton.
To make her Christmas wish come true, the four-year-old was granted a special visit to meet Santa Claus.
Her mother, Heather, said: “Evie was bowled over with her visit to Santa, and she was amazed that he already knew her name!
“This has been a difficult year for Evie, and we know that her walking is still not up to scratch. But she’s done brilliantly so far, and I know she’ll continue to improve.”
Evie’s injuries included a broken arm and leg, a ruptured spleen and liver, fractured ribs, a cracked skull and a brain haemorrhage.
