The results are awaited of a Health and Safety Inspectorate investigation into the April accident.
To celebrate Evie’s remarkable recovery, she was invited by the Trafford Centre to visit the Santa Claus grotto, and receive a special present.
The family are now looking forward to a family Christmas in Speke – with Evie the centre of attention.
Her mother added: “I’d like to thank the Trafford Centre for inviting Evie to meet Santa, and special thanks to the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and my family for all the support they’ve given us.”
