LIVERPOOL’S self-proclaimed “superfly” Lord Mayor, Cllr Steve Rotheram, is hosting a 70s fancy dress Motown Show at the Town Hall tonight.
From 7.30pm, the elected representative for Fazakerley will be donning his disco outfit.
He said: “Everyone knows I am Liverpool’s one true superfly guy, but if you’re up to a dance-off come along.
“The live music will be hot and all the money raised will go to some great causes.”
Tickets are £50 and include drinks on arrival, as well as a three-course meal.
All proceeds will go to Alder Hey’s Imagine Appeal, The Marina Dalglish Appeal, The Alzheimer’s Society and the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital’s Merseybeat Appeal.
Fancy dress is optional.
