holiday snap 100
TWO Liverpool families will be showing their holiday snaps to the nation from today when they become the faces of a leading holiday company.
Kyle and Natalie Trotman and their two-year-old daughter, Lydia, from Old Swan, along with Dave and Carole Hind and their 16-year-old daughter, Sophie, from West Derby, will feature in the Direct Holidays advertising campaign.
In September the Trotmans were set for their Direct Holidays trip to Tenerife and the Hinds were preparing for their holiday to Mexico.
The holiday company were also searching the nation for couples and families it felt represented its customers.
On coming across the two families, Direct Holidays knew they had met their ideal candidates and followed them on their holidays to snap them on their respective breaks.
Using real-life snapshots and quotes from customers on holidays the Trotmans and Hinds will be seen in Direct Holidays’ brochures, Summer Sun 2009 and Tropical Escapes, national and regional press adverts, direct mail that will reach millions of homes nationwide and online at www.directholidays.co.uk
Mr Hind said: “When we were approached by Direct Holidays to appear in their ads, we jumped at the chance.
“Not only have we always enjoyed great holidays with them, but it’s not every day you get asked to appear in an ad campaign – I’m sure I’ll get a bit of a ribbing from my Sainsbury’s colleagues when they see me in my holiday snaps though.“
Steve Barrass, the MD of Direct Holidays, added: “Direct Holidays is about real holidays for real people so who better to promote our offering than customers who have experienced the benefits of booking a holiday with Direct Holidays first hand?
“When we first spoke with the Trotmans and Hinds, we knew they were just what we were looking for.
“As Direct Holiday customers, they understand our brand and have benefited themselves from the great deals we offer.
“They were a dream to work with and I’m sure both families will be as delighted as we are with the results.”
