A 16-YEAR-OLD girl was sexually assaulted in a Wirral park.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack last Friday at Wallacre Park, Wallacre Road, Wallasey.
At around 6.30pm the victim was walking through the park when a man approached her from behind. He pinned her against the wall of an alleyway and sexually assaulted her.
The offender ran away towards Hillside Road when a woman with her dog walked by.
He was possibly of mixed race, 5ft 6in tall, of medium to chubby build and was wearing black casual clothing.
Police would like to speak to the woman with the dog.
