“The kids were fighting over who could sit by him in the car. So in the end we had him in the middle on the back seat and one either side.
“We went to Nando’s for our tea and Michael paid with some money we gave him. It was a special day and we enjoyed every moment.
“It was very emotional for us when we took him back to the prison and had to say bye.
“We can only hope Mr Straw comes to his senses and realises he can end the heartache for us.”
