Web firm comes on board as Mersey Ferries digital deal sealed

WEB development company Mando Group has secured a three-year contract with Mersey Ferries as its strategic digital partner.

The Liverpool Science Park company has already worked with Merseytravel on other projects, including the Mersey Ferries and Spaceport sites.

Its first project will be to build a new site for “The Big Mersey Adventure”, the brand Mersey Ferries is building for its continuing expansion into the visitor economy. Its new attractions include a new Beatles Story at the Pier Head and the U-Boat display at Woodside.

Mersey Ferries general manager, Martin King, said: “The ferries are steeped in history but, over the last 10 years, the business has been repositioned for the future in many new and exciting ways.”

Mando chief executive Matt Johnson said: “Mersey Ferries are a key customer and we are delighted to be continuing to work with them on an exciting digital strategy.”
