MILKMEN and women have been helping police stop burglaries in St Helens.
Dairy Crest, who deliver milk across Windle, Rainford, Moss Bank, Billinge, and Senely Green have been helping officers identify insecure and vulnerable properties.
Neighbourhood Inspector Ian Cooper, said: “They helped us to identify potential insecure properties or vulnerable premises and consequently one of our PCSO Volunteers delivered crime prevention packs from the milk float each morning.”
