CHESHIRE County Council has withdrawn public notices proposing the closure of two schools in Ellesmere Port.
The statutory notices proposed the closure of Cheshire Oaks High School and Ellesmere Port School of Performing Arts.
The county council says it wants to ensure everyone has been fully consulted and, in addition, wishes to have further discussion about the selection of the site for a proposed Academy in Ellesmere Port.
Children’s Services Executive Member David Rowlands will be asked on January 26 to restart the process.
Now, anyone who did not attend the earlier consultation meetings or has not yet contacted the council, can have their say.
