Riddle of attack on car
THREE shots have been fired at a car which was also subject to a petrol bomb attack.
A member of the public called police after hearing the shots fired in Elm Avenue, Crosby on Wednesday night.
Officers found an empty Range Rover peppered with bullet marks and the remains of a petrol bomb that had failed to properly ignite.
No-one appeared to have been injured.
Witnesses saw a dark vehicle in the area at the time.
