Big weekend to help plan for the big day
BRIDES-TO-BE and their family and friends descended on the BT Convention Centre over the weekend for the Confetti wedding show.
Hundreds of exhibitors were present on both days to help bridal parties plan the big day.
From bridal shops to stationers, everything needed to plan the big day was in one room. Brides could even have a hair and make-up trial.
David MacCarfrae, of David’s Cakes of Distinction, in Crosby, said: “There is a fantastic atmosphere here and it has been extremely busy.
“Everybody seems to have really enjoyed themselves.”
The three catwalk shows each day showed all of the latest trends and styles in bridal dress, mother of the bride outfits and outfits for the groom.
Brides were also given the chance to win a £9,000 wedding, and hundreds of discounts from the exhibitors.
