THE Echo Arena Liverpool hosted the British Supercross Championships with a spectacular display.
Somewhere between 100-120 lorry loads of soil were brought in from a recycling yard at Trafalgar Dock to allow the two-day event to be staged.
Among those taking part were 15-year-old triplets James, Lewis and Carl Hand, from Bootle.
The teenagers, who have been riding motorbikes since they were seven, raced their off-road motorbikes in front of friends, family and thousands of Supercross fans.
