A DRIVER was seriously hurt after his car left the road and hit two lampposts.
The 30-year-old was travelling on the A57 Sankey Way towards Widnes when he crashed near the Sankey Green Island at 10pm on Sunday.
The man, who is from Warrington, was taken to Warrington General Hospital where he is said to be “comfortable”.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash.
