Robbie Fowler's court hearing delayed

A COURT case against ex-Liverpool FC star Robbie Fowler has been adjourned for two weeks.

Fowler was due to appear before South Sefton magistrates yesterday, to face an allegation of using a mobile phone while driving his BMW X5 on Netherton Way.

But the court received a letter from Hill Dickinson solicitors, requesting a short adjournment, which was accepted by the chairman of the magistrates.

Fowler must attend the rescheduled hearing in person and will be requested to enter a plea at the same court on the morning of February 9.

According to Australian newspaper reports, Fowler has recently been Down Under looking at the facilities of Fury FC.

Fowler was released from Blackburn Rovers in December after a short stint.
