SEVEN shortlisted plans for a complete redesign of the historic Royal Court theatre will go on display to the public next week.
Architecture firms from around the world entered a competition for an estimated £5m - £10m regeneration of the building to improve facilities and access.
The Royal Institute of British Architects’ customised “Architruck” will pull up at St George’s Plateau on Wednesday and display the short-listed ideas until February 27.
A total of 50 leading architect firms from as far afield as Brazil, New York, Rotterdam and Paris pitched for the work.
They include Liverpool architects Union North and Studio Three, three London-based firms, one Scottish contender Nord, and Paris-based Studio Andrew Todd whose founder has relatives in Liverpool.
