LIVERPOOL’S most famous hairdresser has launched his very own exclusive champagne bar in the city.
Herbert Howe’s new establishment, Champu, at Beetham Plaza, will stock the finest Champagnes, served by French sommeliers.
ŠGuests will always have to make a reservation to drink in the “Champagne celebra-tion lounge”, a jacket is required at all times and drinkers will not be able to stand in the seated-only venue.ŠThe lounge features Swarovski crystal lighting and animal print furniture.
Patrons will also be able to book a complimentary chauffeur-driven limousine to and from their choice of restaurant.
ŠMr Howe said: “Champu is a unique new concept for any special occasion, such as birthdays, anniversaries and career promotion.
“It will open for private corporate events in the afternoons from 1pm-4pm and is open Monday to Saturday, 5pm-midnight.

ŠAfter its official launch on Valentines Day, Herbert will hold three special show-cases for VIPs around the city.
ŠHe added: “I envisage seeing my new concept travel and establish itself around Great Britain.”
