Father and daughters accused of kidnapping mother

A FATHER and his two daughters from Liverpool were yesterday accused of kidnapping their mother.

David Walker, Chelsea O'Neil and Kelly Anne O'Neil, appeared before Wrexham magistrates charged with abducting Sharon O'Neil.

The alleged kidnap happened on Saturday evening at Mount Pleasant, Ponciau, near Wrexham.

Walker, 45, of Rupert Drive, Everton, was charged with kidnap and securing entry to the Ponciau property by force.

Chelsea O'Neil, 20, also of Rupert Drive, Everton, faced charges of kidnap and unlawful entry by force to get into the property. She also faced a charge of burglary.

Kelly Anne O'Neil, 25, of Genista Close, Liverpool, was charged with kidnap, assault by beating of her mother Sharon O'Neil, and unlawful entry to the property by force.

The three faced the allegations yesterday, flanked by officers.

Magistrates bailed the three with strict conditions.

Their case will be heard at Mold Crown Court on Friday February 27.

Walker must reside at Rupert Drive in Liverpool and must observe a curfew between 7am and 7pm.

The 45-year-old must not contact Sharon O'Neil or a man called Michael Glover and must not enter North Wales unless to attend court or by appointment to see a solicitor.

Chelsea O'Neil must also live at the house on Rupert Drive and observe a curfew when she is working of 11pm-7am, and when she is not working of 7pm to 7am.

Kelly O'Neil, must live at Genista Close, Liverpool, observe a curfew of 10pm-7am on days she is working and 7pm-7am when not working.

The two daughters must also not contact Sharon O'Neil or Michael Glover or enter North Wales unless to attend court, or by appointment to see a solicitor.

Yesterday Wrexham CID appealed for witnesses or for anybody who saw anything suspicious to come forward.
