EVERTON FC and Merseyside Police are due to make an announcement this morning about Everton’s clash with Stoke City.
It is expected the game will be switched for a second time after the British National Party cancelled an event.
The club were forced to put back their Goodison Park game with Stoke City on Saturday, March 14, by 24 hours.
But, over the weekend, the BNP announced it would cancel its campaigning so the game could be played on its original date.
Club officials held talks with police last night and will contact the FA and Stoke City before announcing any change.
Everton had been keen to revert back to the original date, but were anxious to avoid inconveniencing fans who have already changed their travel plans.
