LIVERPOOL'S Philharmonic Hall had to be evacuated last night during Brainiac Live.
The audience of 900 adults and children exited the building when the fire alarm sounded at 7.45pm.
They were allowed to return to their seats shortly after.
A spokesman said the alarm had been triggered by a fault not connected to the show.
Brainiac Live promises more than 20 daredevil experiments and lots of audience participation.
