CANCER-BATTLING Jade Goody was described as the “best mum in the world” by her young son as she began married life.
The reality TV star, who has been given just weeks to live, enjoyed a day of “laughter and tears”, with her two children at the “heart” of the lavish ceremony in Essex, publicist Max Clifford said last night.
Goody’s “dream” wedding to Jack Tweed was attended by around 200 guests including television personalities Richard Madeley, Judy Finnigan and Paul O’Grady – and also included a performance from girlband the Sugababes.
Mother-of-two Goody was reportedly dosed with painkillers for the 45-minute service at the Down Hall Country Hotel near Hatfield Heath.
Mr Clifford said: “The boys were at the heart of everything that happened yesterday, giggling and laughing and obviously having a wonderful day themselves.
“She’s going to enjoy what time she has left with them because that’s Jade and they’re very close.”
