EVERTON’S NSPCC centre has a new patron, thanks to one of the country’s largest holiday companies.
Holidaymakers at Haven's 35 Holiday parks raised £115,000 for the charity's Safe Place Appeal.
Martin Ashton, NSPCC’s head of fundraising for the North West, presented Haven’s director, Mark Harper, with a certificate of patronage.
The fundraising effort included prize draws and auctions during the 2008 holiday season.
Haven Holidays head of retail support, Darren Cavill, from Merseyside, said: “Raising money for such a worthwhile cause has given me a real buzz.”
