Troubled singer Amy Winehouse returns to UK

AMY WINEHOUSE has returned to Britain after her two-month Caribbean break amid fresh controversy.

On her return flight, the troubled 25-year-old was involved in an altercation after she thought a plane passenger was looking at her strangely.

With her trademark beehive hairdo making a comeback to replace the shorter curls she wore during her time away, the singer flew into London’s Gatwick Airport on Sunday.

She is said to have quit her Camden, north London, home for a townhouse in the quieter suburb of Barnet.

Winehouse’s return comes just days after her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was released from jail.

He was previously sentenced for helping to beat up a pub landlord and perverting the course of justice.

His mother, Georgette, said: “He feels very let down by his wife and he’s proceeding with a divorce.”

Winehouse’s spokesman was not immediately available for comment.
