Police seal off Prescot Rd, St Helens _460
A man appeared in court this morning in connection with a six hour police siege at a St Helens business on Thursday.
Jean Claude Rubagire, 35, of no fixed abode, appeared in front of Knowsley magistrates court following the incident at Alfred J Knight on Prescot Road.
He was charged with making threats to kill and a bomb hoax, and three counts of false imprisonment.
