HUNDREDS of people across Merseyside are doing something funny for money today in aid of Comic Relief.
Around Liverpool, there are an array of events being held to mark Red Nose Day.
Comic Relief spends the money on supporting long-term projects which help people to help themselves across the UK and Africa.
One spectacular fundraiser being held in the city centre today is the performance of Michael Jackson’s Thriller by Working Links, MD Productions and sixth formers from Cardinal Heenan school. The ghosts and ghouls of the classic 80s video will be resurrected for one day only with performances outside Primark at 1.15pm, Liverpool One at 2.30pm and Williamson Square at 3.30pm.
To dance your way into raising money for Comic Relief, go to a salsa night at El Rincon Latino, on Roscoe Street tonight. All donation door fees will be given to Comic Relief.
