MODELS from TV, stage and the media took to the catwalk at the culmination of Liverpool Fashion Week.

The finale, Scouse In The City, was held at the Liverpool Olympia – also the home of cage fighting and The Lady Boys of Bangkok show.

Professional models and familiar faces from TV programmes including Coronation Street and Big Brother mingled backstage at the show venue.

Merseyside designer Neil Cooper opened the show which featured celebrity models including Coronation Street actresses Michelle Keegan, who modelled last year, and Brooke Vincent.

Glamour model Bianca Gascoigne was also joined by local Crosby model Nicole Francis, Big Brother twins Sam and Amanda Marchant and Lisa Appleton.

The second half of the show also featured striking outfits by Boudoir Boutique.

The show closed with designer Philip Armstrong.

The show signalled the end of the fashion week which also included a catwalk fashion show in Liverpool One featuring students from LIPA.

That show showcased the latest trends from high street chains such as John Lewis, Karen Millen, Mango, Oasis, Monsoon and Accessorize.
