NUDISTS claim a more relaxed attitude to the naked body could reduce the number of teenage pregnancies.
British Naturism said it was no coincidence a high pregnancy level among teenagers was found in the “least liberal” countries.
Andrew Welch, commercial manager of British Naturism, said: “There is strong evidence conventional attitudes towards the human body contribute significantly to a wide range of problems – but there is incredible reluctance to face the implications.
“The UK is the most censorious country in Europe about anything to do with the body.”
