In a statement released last night, the resort said its staff would “fully co-operate” in any investigation resulting from Richardson’s death.
It comes as a New York medical examiner confirmed Richardson died as a result of a blunt impact to the head.
A spokesman added the death was accidental. He said: “Cause of death was epidural haematoma down to a blunt impact to the head.”
Alan Nierob, her husband’s publicist, said: “Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha.
“They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Tim Walker, the Sunday Telegraph’s critic, said: “The world of acting has been deprived of a great actress.’’
