MORE than 50 jobs are to go at a distribution centre belonging to a catering supplies firm.
Administrators said the King UK centre, in Skelmersdale, was one of six in England and Wales being wound down.
The others affected are in Rugby, Hemel Hempstead, Cumbernauld, Northampton, Plymouth, Birmingham, Medway, Rotherham and Car-diff, with 320 jobs going in all.
King UK was part of the Casper Group, now being run by administrators Deloitte.
They took the decision to partly dispose of the business, which supplies a range of consumable and disposable products into the catering, airline and general wholesale sectors.
